The labels on demo copies of Gillespie’s rare October 1968 45 ‘You Just Gotta Know My Mind’ state: ‘From LP Dana Gillespie’ and ‘Single from LP LK / SKL 4953’. However, the album’s release was cancelled at the last minute, for reasons even Gillespie doesn’t know. Two mono test pressings have surfaced, without artwork. They contain the same songs as the US Foolish Seasons LP, with the exception of ‘Can’t You See I Am Dreaming?’ and ‘Where Will You Be?”, which are substituted with the orchestrated ballads ‘Walking Hand In Hand’ and ‘These Open Arms’.
