Recorded at The Kit Kat Club, New York City on 19th November 1999, it was the sixth and final limited-edition release of live albums recorded during Bowie's various 1990's tours, under the collective name of "Brilliant Live Adventures [1995-1999]". The Kit Kat Club show was part of the Hours Tour, and was recorded and filmed on the 19th November 1999 in front of an invite-only audience of fans and contest winners. The double album is presented in a matte gatefold sleeve. The design is similar to that of New York artist Andy Warhol's famous Pop Art-style portrait of Marilyn Monroe, and the text is in a "handwritten" style.
