Description

The first ever release of the earliest recordings made by the mighty Catapilla. Taped during a rehearsal in 1970, they capture the first line-up of the band tearing through a superb set of largely unreleased material (though the mighty Tumbleweed and Embryonic Fusion are present and correct). It's more accessible than their June 1971 debut on Vertigo, but hardly easy listening...

It comes in a striking gatefold sleeve and includes a large-format booklet telling the band's history from the perspective of several of its members, as well as plenty of rare images and contemporary cuttings.

The first 100 orders placed here will also come with a facsimile of the band's promo card, as used by their agency to obtain early gigs.

The album is due to be delivered in mid-October, and orders will be sent out as soon as it arrives. Please pre-order to avoid disappointment!
